LinkedIn Thought Leadership Ghostwriting, Content Strategy, and Personal Branding for Rahul Raj, Founder of 5&Vine
The Challenge
Rahul wanted to strengthen his thought leadership on LinkedIn to attract mission-aligned clients. While his voice was authentic and values-driven, performance across posts was inconsistent, and there was limited clarity on which content types resonated most. The challenge was to identify what engages his audience and use those insights to build a repeatable content strategy that drives meaningful engagement, visibility, and inbound leads.
The Approach
I began with a deep dive into 90 days of LinkedIn analytics, examining impressions, engagements, audience demographics, and profile views. The data revealed that personal, reflective posts consistently outperformed more philosophical or critical content and engaged founders, co-founders, and CEOs in key markets like Toronto, NYC, and San Francisco. Using these insights, I designed a content strategy that balanced authentic storytelling with actionable thought leadership, refined CTAs to encourage in-post discussion, and incorporated strategic tagging to expand reach. The analysis also inspired a blog exploring the Edelman Trust Barometer, connecting trends in trust and transparency to challenges facing challenger brands, demonstrating how research-driven insights could fuel content beyond social media.
